Teignmouth started slowly and were into a strong wind, soon found themselves 14-0 down due to some poor tackling and good pace from the Topsham backs.

At half time Teigns trailed 19-0 and got a stern talking to from Captain Andy Webber and management. Now playing with the wind, this spurred the 2s on and they scored straight from the kick off with a great run by Will Burton finished off by Jamie Collins.

Teigns then had the momentum and Jamie Collins added to his try tally with a strong pick and go try.

Topsham 15 then scored a wonder try from his own half but this didn’t kill the Teign's spirits.

As Jake Wright then appeared mouldys at the ready with 15 minutes of the match to go (Jake thought it was still the first half)

He scored with his first touch with a strong carry! Making it 5 tries in 2 matches for the pacy prop! Tom Carr added the extras.

Teigns had a chance to equalise in the last 5 minutes but unfortunately knocked on over the line.

Many positives from the result against a strong Topsham side and the Teigns were happy to come home with a bonus point after their first half display.

MOTM was Will Burton due to his excellent service in tough conditions added in with some line breaks!
