After a great performance at 8 Town festival, Teignmouth Under 14's wanted to carry the momentum on by hosting Crediton for the first time this season. Conditions were very hot and the ground perfect for Teignmouth to move the ball and use their pace throughout the team.

They showed how well their forwards have improved collectively, with some great driving runs from the front five, namely, Jason Carcamo, Logan Woolley, Jack Parr, Thomas Walters, Aiden Norbury and Oscar Kennedy. The back row terrorized Crediton in the loose with Luca Barbot, Daniel Noble, Teddy Harbert and Jake Howard linking up well together.

Teamwork in any performance is key and outside the scrum they all put in big shift with their line speed and very sharp in attacks, moving the ball wide for our 2 flyers Luke Cockram and Ben Scullard. Charlie Doolan and Louix Bustinator showed why they are regarded highly by their coaches with speed, pace and looking so elusive with ball in hand.

Tristan Green gets a special mention as he is playing well beyond his years with great link play and defensively using his quick line speed and punching way above his weight against larger opposition.

Halfs backs of Finn Addiscott and Ollie Nicks orchestrated the game well by moving the ball quickly away from danger. Ollie Nicks made great use of his team members coming off either shoulder and then given half a gap shot through to release the boys wider out.

All round our success is down to hard work, boys beginning to talk and listen to each other and their coaches which is starting to take the team to another level.
