power and sheer bulk of the Teignmouth pack.

With a plentiful supply of possession flowing from the pack controlled by Walker at scrum half Teignmouth ran in tries at regular intervals except for a 15 minute spell early in the second half when some basic handling mistakes and ignored options allowed Totnes to have some time in the Teignmouth half. Totnes then when driven back into their own half crafted a break out that ended with a thirty metre sprint into the corner by Jake Collins who was helping Totnes out.

The 13 tries for Teignmouth were spread around with skipper Andy Webber the top scorer with 4. In addition Dan Aldworth, Jonny Smart, and Steffan Walker scored 2 each. Brad Carter, Ben McDonald adding singles. The returning prodigal Declan Hammond scored the other powering over with his additional weight(you weren't this size when you left Dec!!)from close in. Couch added 6 conversions and Dan Aldworth 1.

This was good to watch as the tries had to be worked for and many showed good skill levels. McDonalds and Carters tries showed excellent lines of running, two of Webbers and Jonny Smart's two tries showed the benefit of good support play both working hard to be in the right place to finish off.

High lights away from the tries included great combining and power from Hammond and Gareth Aldworth as they crashed 50 metres up field. Only both needing a lie down brought them to a stop. Chris Day and Steffan Walker having who can hand off the most competition. But finally the sight of the pine tree that is Dan Aldworth being felled a metre short of the line by a text book low tackle by the small hand axe that is Jake Collins.

An enjoyable game in great conditions made possible by Totnes being willing to come regardless and the Teignmouth players who were willing to support them.
