Teignmouth 2s had an easy victory in a somewhat farcical match at Bitton Park last Saturday ..

On the hour mark, the referee decided that the match was over as a real contest and allowed the teams to adjourn to the clubhouse to watch the few minutes of the England v Argentina match!

Special mention should go to Teigns’ coach Terry Veacock, who guested for Honiton for part of the game, as did Johnny Smart, Jake Collins and new boy Ben Macdonald.

Charlie Guppy was man of the match as the home side ran in eight tries, five of which came in a truncated second half.
