On the half hour Chris Day continued his recent scoring streak by picking up from the back of a ruck and sneaking up the blindside to level the score. Paignton scored again from a Teignmouth error and another try in half time to give a score line of 5-15.
The second half saw the introduction of Tony Wolke to bolster the pack. Teignmouth manfully continued to battle against paignton only to lose Roy Jones to an injury and then concede another try. Teignmouth went down to 14 players after Stefan Walker was given a time out on the naughty step this enabled Paignton to score a further try. Chris Day then decided to score two further tries with the last being the best having been stopped short he was able to reach out and score, final score 17-30. Teignmouth were able to welcome back Chris Dixon and Ben Yates after a long time away from the game. Next week the twos are away to Brixham in the Merit Table.
