The match got off to a disastrous start for Teignmouth, as they lost the ball from the kick-off and immediately conceded a try. Teignmouth were back in the game before long with a well worked combination of effective rucking followed by well timed passing to allow Seth to touch down under the posts.
However, that was the extent of Teignmouth's success until much later in the game, as the visitors proceeded to exploit some poor tackling and ran in tries at will. Teignmouth competed well at the breakdown and the set-piece, but the Sharks capitalised on the space that the hosts allowed them and were good enough to ensure that every missed tackle led to a score.
For the first team this season Teigns found themselves up against an opponent with enough pace to cover their breaks and Seth Boxall (twice) and Noah Lambert were both caught when in space that would usually have led to a try.
Seth's other two tries came late in the game, by which time the result was beyond doubt.
The team have hopefully learnt some valuable lessons that they can take into this weekend's cup fixture at Home to the Exeter Chiefs.
