The soggy ground meant that the pitch was narrowed by 10m, denying Teigns' backs the space to show off their running skills. Saracens adapted better to the conditions and used their bigger runners to good effect, despite some spirited defence from the visitors.
Josh Poulter, Jude Painter and Ewan Anthony again put their bodies on the line to try and disrupt the Saracens attacks, but from broken play and given a bit of space the hosts were able to breach the Teignmouth defence and cross the try line.
Noah Lambert worked hard to inject some pace into the attack, but the Teignmouth backs missed some opportunities through sloppy handling and it was only towards the end that Seth Boxall found space and crossed twice in quick succession to bring some respectability to the scoreline.
